  • 6 months to 3 years old

Parents & babies/toddlers

join up
  • has done some swimming
  • can put face in the water
  • can float on the front and on the back with help

Beginner level 1

join up
  • can swim unaided couple of strokes on his/her front and back
  • happy to do push and glide
  • can float on the front and on the back without help

Beginner level 2

join up
  • can swim a further distance on his/her front and back
  • introduction to breathing on his/her front
  • introduction to deeper water

Improvers level 1

join up
  • refining breathing on the front
  • swims well on the back
  • learns the basics of breaststroke
  • swims many widths with ease

Improvers level 2

join up
  • continuing to refine front crawl and backstroke
  • mastering breaststroke
  • starting to learn ‘wiggle’ butterfly
  • introduction to diving

Advanced level 1

join up
  • swimming a length with 3 different strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke)
  • master butterfly kick and introduction of butterfly arms
  • introduction to diving

Advanced level 2 (Junior Squad)

  • swimming a length with 4 different strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly) many times
  • standing dives

Squad Level 1

  • swimming lengths with 4 different strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly) many times
  • introduction to block diving

Squad Level 2
